Her name is Svetlana Filippova and for more than 30 years is making and designing clothes! She is Russian living in Larnaca and she will show her AW2016/17 collection on the 6th of November at Famagusta Gate Nicosia!
She says:
“Annually changing trends and modern requirements make me desire to constantly improve her skills. My professional experience combines not only work with fabrics, but also the production of knitted apparel (by knitting machine), and fifteen years of experience to work with leather. The need for accuracy to design a pattern required me to start working with a computer program. My mathematical education in Pedagogical University helped to deal with that.
Computer design and sewing of leather products is the main and favorite pastime today. Variable in texture and design leather, the ability to combine it with the light fabrics allow me to continue to adhere to the concept chosen. Favorite styles are romanticism and extravagance. Leather combined with light fabrics emphasizes femininity and individuality, like a second skin that protects, gives confidence and distinguishes from the crowd”
