“Trapped in Time”. A great collaboration between the world known Italian photographer and art Director of Popolare University of Vercelli Italy Marco Barnabino and our own Cypriot talented artist Marina Giannou Erotokritou.
The two artists have been an inspiration to each other with Barnabino capturing people’s feelings on his camera and Erotokritou expressing that feeling through her canvas paintings. And the amazing result was of course acknowledged by Italy, a country known for art and culture giving the two artists a great honour and recognition.
Marina Giannou Erotokritou, was invited to the closing ceremony of 2015/2016 academic year of Popolare University. Also the province of Vercelli as sponsors, were honoured to have an exhibition presenting the work of the two talented artists held at Castello di Quinto Vercellese.
Now it’s our turn to show how proud we are to have talents like Mrs Erotokritou in our country. The Municipality of Nicosia is proudly having an exhibition with the work of Marco Barnabino and Marina Giannou Erotokritou at Ammochostos Gate from September 11 at 20:00. The exhibition will be open to the public and whoever loves Art can admire this project until the 16th of September. Part of the proceeds will be donated to the Cyprus Association of Cancer patients & friends (PASYKAF).
